Dirt-Resistant PVC Keder for Easier Routine Cleaning
A project-specific PVC keder option for exposed fabric edges where reduced dirt pickup and easier cleaning are important selection goals.
Dirt-Resistant Keder is intended for projects where the visible keder edge is exposed to handling, outdoor contaminants or regular cleaning. The final construction may use a selected coated fabric, surface finish or profile configuration designed to reduce visible soil build-up or simplify routine cleaning.
This product name does not mean self-cleaning, stain-proof or maintenance-free. Performance depends on the confirmed material, contaminant, exposure time, cleaning method and complete product design. Kedermaker will define publishable performance language only after the relevant construction and evidence are approved.

Applications
Potential applications include light-coloured tent and marquee edges, awnings and canopies, event structures, display systems, vehicle or equipment covers and fabric products exposed to frequent handling or visible surface contamination.
Suitability must be reviewed for the actual contaminant. Dust, mud, oils, exhaust deposits, biological growth and industrial residues behave differently and may require different material or cleaning choices.
Surface and Cleaning Review
Send the expected contaminants, cleaning products, temperature, tools and cleaning frequency. If appearance is critical, provide acceptance criteria and arrange a sample trial using the intended cleaning process.
Avoid abrasive tools or aggressive chemicals unless the approved material supplier confirms compatibility. Cleaning guidance should be based on the final coated fabric and not on the product name alone.
Quality and Compatibility
Inspection can cover keder dimensions, flap geometry, surface appearance, colour, bonding consistency and agreed sample-cleaning observations. Any comparative performance requirement needs a defined test method, control sample and acceptance limit.
